Salt Lake Tribune: LDS Latinos Want Church To Address Crackdown on Un-Documented People

In its June 4, 2010 edition, the Salt Lake Tribune reports that a group of Mormon Latinos wants their church to take a stand on addressing un-documented immigrants. According to the story, they are particularly concerned that the Church of Latter Day Saints may be seen as taking an anti-immigrant stance, especially since the recent harsh immigration law in Arizona was sponsored by state senator Russell Pearce, himself a Mormon.
